Her appearance was on 2 episodes on the Showtime show Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. Her roles include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy as the character of Dawson's Creek. The three-year run playing Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations for the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until the year 2008 on the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club. Dollar starred in The 2012 NBC Happy Valley pilot which wasn't picked up.
