Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, a famous Afghan American actor in the United States has been in numerous television shows. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and received refugee status in order to remain. She is the middle child of two sisters, and was brought up in Northern Virginia. Her career on air began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance of the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress at a film festivals. The roles she played on television are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently played the role of a support character in Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comic in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 when she was cast part of General Hospital's primetime spin-off, General Hospital. In season 2 Night Shift, the actress played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra a holistic doctor. Ghanizada was a character on Kelly in HBO's Entourage She also joined in the cast of the TV pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, and the executive producers T Bone Burnett.
