Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a wonderful fiance named JP along with a very unhappy dad Henry. Most people know me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I write about my experiences- my highs, lows and all in between. When I was 1 1/2 years old, my family and I came from the United States to America. If it weren't for the hard work of my parents I might not exist today to share my life with you. So that they could give their children a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on success and worked hard to achieve it. My life was set out for me to attend university, find work in a corporate, marry and buy the house. I believed that this was the definition of success. However, however, life has other plans to show me what it meant to be successful. 2013 was the year I realized it difficult to accept my job. Even though the compensation and position was good, I didn't feel like it was fulfilling. It was more like I was simply wasting my time. I possessed a love of fitness and being social and helping others when I was navigating this new path in life I discovered my passion for personal training. This year I will celebrate my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I started my own business. As an Asian woman in the industry, there are very few of us. My goal is to be a positive influencer within the field to offer high-quality coaching that allows people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing the most sustainable life that meets their personal needs and goals. Also, I want everyone to be able to achieve their goals and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for throughout their lives. While my professional life began to take off, I experienced the most devastating loss in my life to datein the death of my mother. She won her eight year struggle with scleroderma, and is resting in Heaven as well as with me in my thoughts and heart at all times. The lessons we learn from life are often hidden from us, but they can be extremely useful. The loss of my mother has changed my life in a profound way and I am convinced that she offered me another chance to live my life. She passed away in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the perfect time to start the next chapter of her life. It was also a chance for me to have my second chance of living a happy, fulfilled and fulfilling life. In the 30's I am more alive than ever. I can truly say that I live my life today and not just surviving as I did in the past. When I share my experience I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for yours. I hope that my words can make you aware that you're never alone. You have the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. It is my prayer to live your life at its best and have no regrets in your final days. The death of a person is the only certainty in the world.
